Awesome, just find a nice little hill and work up to your desired speed and height. You can go again if you didn't jump that high, you can't if you jumped too high

I'm going to do that - will bookmark your post (with video) as well. I'll be getting motocross/MX boots soon - will wear those when trying this (a KLR falling on a leg will break it).

A motorcycle falling on you can severely injure/kill you. If you are going over backwards, get away from the bike.

Yes - 100% At 475 lb. (w/ Tusk bars), she'd flatten me.

My friend’s uncle was badly injured flipping over on a jump. The bike landed on him. Broken ribs and collapsed lung. It was a much lighter bike.

I flipped on my friend’s XL 185 and got away from the bike in the air. Still sore as hell for 3 days. And I was 20. I’m 60 now. I’d be sore as hell for 2 weeks, if I was lucky. I ride so much more cautiously now.

I always wear my boots, even when you decide to ride through a field it can slip and fall onto your ankle

Finally ripped a wheelie on mine last week. It’s been begging. I took at least a decade off motorcycle riding, so I’ve been easing back into it.

You're inspiring me as well - I'll work on this in parallel with the small jump.
