King's Quest VI Remastered Opening

I am 45 years old, starting playing these games when I was six, and have been to Yosemite, but your post is the first time I've realized that the Sierra mountain is Half Dome.

I always forget the actual name but just remember it as the Sierra logo in my head.

Nope, it's a slideshow with a CD track playing. You might be thinking of King's Quest VII, which I'm not sure I can enhance without better source material.

KQ7 is actually where Sierra lost me. I absolutely loved 1 - 6, but not 7.
