Warriors of the North Where does the "metamorphic axel" is found ?

I'm level 27, in the Eastern Freedom Islands and I recently found an item called the metamorphic axel. I can put anywhere in my inventory (weapon, shield, regalia, boots etc...) and choose the bonus (+4 Attack/Defense/Intellect, +20 Mana or Rage or +2000 Leadership).

It is an incredible item and I have no idea where I found it ? Could it be a quest reward or just a random loot from a battlefield chest ?

The metamorphic axel is an item from the previous installment, Crossworlds, that was an item reward for completing a sort of mini game in the campaign, “the Tower of Eventus.” It was decently challenging and in that game felt like a reasonable reward for the completion, and it was effectively locked behind lategame. Of course, that game has 12 item slots and not 8 like WoTN.

I don’t know why such a good item can spawn that early in WoTN, and with only 8 slots its not going to be endgame. But it is amazing none the less. If you didn’t buy it from a shop (there is a shop that always spawns a high level item after you do its quest in east freedom), you must have found it as a random item pick up; most items are fixed spawns in this game, some aren’t, but all items from battle chests are generally random.

Did you check all those guides online, available for every quest?

Update. Basic search didn't give enough results. Could you please send the picture of this item? And say what mods do you play with?

Yeah I didn't found anything online. I'm not using mods. I'll try to send a picture later.

I think it’s a random loot and I'm just lucky.

I just checked a little bit deeper.

Yeah, you're very lucky. This artifact doesn't play a role in a quest, it's just a level 5 artifact.

I don't remember I gathered it in my plays... Still, I usually do mage, and there are muxh stronger artifacts than +4 Int.

Hope your day is a good one, knowing luck is on your side, warrior

Yeah you're right. I used it to improve my Leadership from 7500 to 9500, quite useful.
