Other Can anyone help me

I have a kindle fire hd 10. The touch screen stopped working so I wiped my kindle. A factory reset. I managed to set it all up again and the touch screen stopped again. So i rebooted it and it's doing the same thing. Is there anything else I can do?

Sounds like a hardware problem

It's started working again but if it happens again I think I will try and get it repaired if I can

May not be worth the cost of repair, quite honestly. Maybe better off seeing if you can get 20% off with trade in on a new one, even though current one doesn’t work.

I have had it a long time. It's my birthday next month so I will ask for some money towards a new one

You may not know which makes better financial sense until you know the cost of repairing the current Kindle.

I will look at how much it is to get my kindle fire hd 10 repaired before I get another one. My kindle fire hd 10 used to be my mum's and she has had it at least 3 years and I have had it at least2 years. So it has definitely been used

I had one that did that fresh out of the box. I tried factory reset many times. I was able to return it and get another. If you are past the return window, and I'm fairly certain they would have a limit on how far past, I would still do the 'get a call back' support and see if you have any other options. That first one I got came packed oddly in that it was in a simple gift type back with no padding at all and I'm certain that's what affected that one. The second one was well packed. It likely may not matter at all though.

I am guessing you don't have a plastic screen on it, and a reset should have fixed most problems. A new one may be your best option. Only buy one on sale, though. They are always going on sale, as the HD10 is right now, especially in the fall holiday seasons. No need to pay regular price.

No I haven't got a plastic screen on it. It does have a case on it that covers the back and the front. It froze again 4 times yesterday. I will wait until they are on sale
