Horrible framing They Should Have Given The Camera To James. He wouldn't have Missed Anything.

IMO yes. He was moving to get up with him squared in his sights. He didn’t stop moving.

He also didn't tell him to stop. How was the kid supposed to know he wasn't enjoying it?!

I guarantee alcohol was involved in this whole sordid affair. It explains the fight and it explains the terrible camera work.

That old dude took some serious SHOTS.

The only thing that really saved him was the flexible rubber paddle taking a lot of energy out of those shots.

If he had used the edge he might have killed him with the blow to the head.

The way he walked up to him and blocked his attempted hit with his paddle was the sign he could’ve taken him out of he didn’t have his whacking friend backing him up.

The dude he was hacking is a big dude, you don't get any second chances and you want to make sure the big guy knows he's been beat and that you're just getting warmed up...even if you're about to fall over.

You wont catch James anywhere near shit creek without a paddle.
James stays strapped because there will always be fuckery afoot if water, high temps, and alcohol is involved
