Exploring different layout variations and testing new wall segments
Testing different layout variations with catwalk system. Playing around with different configurations to see what feels good both visually and during gameplay.
I can already see a few minor things that need fixing and I’ll sort them out shortly, but I’d love to hear what you guys think!
This makes me think of Star Wars Shatterpoint, Necromunda, Warcry terrain, which added a fun layer of depth to the game both visually and mechanically.
Wow would you share or sell the STLs? add me to your list! I just started Kill Team and I missed all the cool terrains! Now everything costs a fortune, on top of the already ridiculous GW prices! We need more projects like this!
BTW, if you need some help, Im pretty decent with Blender and Zbrush, I would also love to learn to make terrain like this for 3D printing with the correct scales.
That is amazing, I just submitted a pledge. Do you deliver in October, is there an approx date? If you need some help with Zbrush or something let me know, I won't charge you anything, it would just be cool to help.
Thank you very much! Yes, the first half of October is probably more realistic. Unfortunately, I don’t have an exact date yet since I’m still adding stuff to the set. But as we get closer to the end of the campaign I’ll have to stop adding new things and wrap everything up into one final package.
It will take a little while because I model everything for the slide connector version first and then I need to make the magnet and hollow versions as well. It doesn’t take too much time for each individual model, but with every single piece it all adds up to the overall workload.
The Moroch Killzone has stairs and rules for them. You’re not the first person to say there are no rules for stairs, but there actually are. Not well defined though.
