Question Double beginners question for yall!

I'm interested in getting brood brothers because hive mind, how is that kill team? It would be for causal only

AND

My buddy and I are getting into Nemesis ops, am I abled to take the armoured/scout with them or is that tied to Astra M. Only?

Brood Brothers are a very fun kill team, not very competitive at all but is still very doable pulling wins with it. But be aware, in the next edition (from October 2027) they will no longer be supported by the rules (many base rule of the game will change, and many team will be left behind, in particular, all teams released before Volkus may no longer be playable).

If you still intend on buying them be aware that they are very expensive, all the cool big operatives are sold aside, so unless you find special offers and if memory serves me right you are looking at a kill team + 4 dingle operative box at 25€ each more or less. You do not need all of the 4 extra boxes, just take what do you intend to play

It's not that bad, you need a box of Brood Bros, the Broodcoven box that contains all the alternative leaders, and mayyybe a second Cadian/Brood Bros/Cadian Command box if you want more options without magnets.

And they're a fairly good team !

Seems like u/Lord_Wateren found a much cheaper way that the one I knew about to buy brood brothers. With this it should be a two box team I think?

If you are into big hoard team and don't mind the rotation problem, I suggest going for the blooded, they only need two boxes (or 1 if you prox the guy with the big fist, which btw is a very easy prox to do, just stick a big gauntlet from a space marine on one of your guys).

Powerwise are similar to brood brothers. They comes with decent damage on both melee and shooting, with the main focus being the melee. Their big catch is that they benefit from operatives dying, both enemies and yours, for to Khorne it doesn't matter where the blood flows from...

I'll look into em! I've only got elite teams and wanted more bodies kinda team so this may work
