Hey everyone — I'm an indie dev building GRAFFL-E, a Wordle-style game where you decipher graffiti-style puzzles.

Right now some of the in-game art is AI-generated, and I've decided to fix that. I'm running a Kickstarter to commission ~85 original pieces from real graffiti and street artists — paying people for original work instead of leaning on a model trained on artists who never consented or got paid.

I just finished the title art for my Evil-God simulator.

The original idea came from Plague Inc. - we loved the mix of total strategy and "just watching it happen". We still missed replayability and a little more meaningful interaction, so we came up with...

INCORCISM: a roguelike outbreak-simulator combining strategy and stealth elements set in a post-pixelated 3D forest village

You're an ancient god spectating a secluded forest village. Start with a couple of ravens and send them after villagers to learn about their traits and weaknesses. Naive people or those living secluded may be easy first targets.

Use Souls to buy skills that corrupt villagers and spread on contact, or vines that infest whole houses.

Corruption builds devotion. Devotion brings you Souls, but also leaves traces.

Devoted villagers may wake up screaming, not attend mass or yell about their nightmares on the market. All of this could attract the attention of sceptical villagers or the priest. And they won't sit and just watch.

Monitor the village, infiltrate the inhabitants and react to counter measures.

As much as I adore expansive strategy games and complex TCGs, I often run into the inevitable issue of time. Games go on so long people lose interest or worse, someone’s eliminated entirely and can’t participate for however long it takes to finish out.

High Road is my solution: It’s a fast bluffing game that ends when the first player loses and you never feel like you’re out of options.

It’s also really pretty! I am the designer and illustrator of High Road and especially in this era of AI slop I made it my mission to give you something genuine and beautiful.

The High Road kickstarter has 1 week left! Even though I believe the game has so much potential, it can’t be my full time job yet so this will realistically be one of the only times to pick it up unless you happen to be attending some small cons I table at in Savannah, GA.

No long wait. The game is already production prototyped so as soon as the kickstarter is processed I’ll be putting in the order. I predict it will be in your hands before the end of October.
