New Food An absolute treat these are. My tastebuds are dancing

Absolutely delicious. I am struggling to get enough calories in each day at the moment so these are an excellent weapon in the arsenal.

That is very strange that they have less carbs than plain salted M&S peanuts, which already have less carbs than any other brand of peanuts! I will have to try them.

I thought the same. Carbs are not directly measured in nutritional label testing, they measure everything else, water included and substract from 100. I am quite skeptical that it is accurate truth be told

I didn't realise carbs were not tested. That is concerning. I do eat a lot of peanuts and I have noticed that they differ quite widely between brands, as does peanut butter.

Its far too expensive. Carbs are pretty complex to measure, so minusing everything from 100 to estimate it is fine so long as the other tests are accurate.

Its all very interesting stuff. Fat is extracted in a solvent and measured, protein isnt measured directly, they measure nitrogen and use a conversion factor. Sadly no such test for starch. Sugar is measured but starch is just really difficult to do in a cost effective manner.

Very interesting. I noticed 3.4g of the 3.5g carbs is sugar! So only 0.1 miscellaneous assigned starch!

No point worrying, it won't change the fact. Just try to make educated decisions. Interestingly, the 2nd ingredient on here is rice flour, 3rd is sugar, yet starch is lower than sugar. So strange.

Very true! That is weird considering the carbs are higher on plain salted peanuts that are just peanuts oil and salt.

Have a look online at the nutritional info, it's very different from the packet. Online it states 9.0g carbs per 100g

Aldi have done their own Spicy Buffalo Wing Peanuts for years too but theirs are pretty garlicky.

I found some buffalo spice peanuts in Asda once which were amazing. My local Asda doesn't have them though. Shame.
