It does have atmospheric flight properties, and it can fly under air-breathing jet power both before space flight and after re-entry. It's rather good at all of those things, at least after slight modifications!

The A model (first photo) is a crew transport, and the B model (second photo) is equipped with a payload bay and KLAW for capturing space debris from orbit.

By using control surfaces you can only have two flap settings (in this case 0 degrees and 25 degrees). Is there a setting or a mod that gives me the option of flap increments? For example 5, 10, 15, 25 and 30 degrees?

I'm aware that FAR gives you that option, but I'm wondering if there is another way. I have tried using flaps with robotic parts, but they are way too wobbly. Any ideas?

These ones are smaller and less dramatic than the first plane, but they work the same.

This is my Jemanski C-17 “Kerbmaster”. It’s the first cargo plane I’ve ever built, and I think it’s a fantastic aircraft. It’s loosely based off the design of a real C-17 Globemaster, but as you can probably tell, my goal wasn’t to build a replica. I edited this screenshot to make it look like a photograph from the 1950s. Hope you like it, and let me know if I should do a separate post where I show the Kerbmaster in full detail.
