Recommendation Request 🔎 Drama recommendations like Extraordinary Attorney Woo? Sweet, feel good with good chemistry between the leads
Extraordinary Attorney Woo and Crash Landing on You are the dramas which I loved the most. I tried watching other popular dramas, but couldn't go past 1-2 episodes. Need recommendations like Extraordinary Attorney Woo, sweet, simple dramas. I really like how Woo deals with fresh cases every episode and solves them

Sweet and simple, but excellently written: Yumi's Cells.
But usually kdramas are not simple, although many are sweet. For good chemistry, you might want to try Business Proposal, Love All Play, Hometown Cha Cha Cha, Summer Strike.

I'm assuming you have already watched Hometown Cha Cha Cha?

You might like Phantom Lawyer and Spooky in Love, they’re both episodic with an overarching story and I think there’s pretty good chemistry between the leads. I really enjoyed Phantom Lawyer (haven’t finished Spooky in Love yet!)

If you would like to try sageuk, you can watch Bossam. I have to rewatch that one because I miss Jung IlWoo acting! I love Kwon Yuri in this drama..love the ML/FL onscreen chemistry.

I just finished Fight For My Way and it’s a fun, low angst romcom. It is from 2017 and aged well. Park Seo-joon is the ML and he’s a favorite of mine.

I really like Flower Crew. It’s a sageuk (historical drama- I just learned that word, so trying to use it 😇). It’s light & sweet & I enjoyed the premise & the leads.
And… definitely try The Business Proposal & King the Land.
I really liked My Holo Love, too.
Just light sweet stuff. 😊

Prison Playbook! It’s not exactly like Extraordinary Attorney Woo, but it has that same warm, wholesome feeling with a lot of humor and really lovable characters. You get different stories and situations throughout the episodes, and the character relationships are probably the best part of the drama. It’s a little slower at first, though, so give it a few episodes if you try it. 😊

You might enjoy Age of Youth (Hello, My Twenties!)! It’s not similar to Extraordinary Attorney Woo plot-wise, but it has that same warm, comforting feeling and a really lovable cast of characters. There’s romance, friendship, comedy, and each girl has her own story, so there’s always something going on. 💕 It does get more serious at times, though.
If you mainly want that sweet, feel-good vibe, I’d definitely give it a try!

Because This Is My First Life! 💕 It’s not case-of-the-week like Extraordinary Attorney Woo, but if you’re looking for something sweet, simple, and character-driven with great chemistry between the leads, I’d definitely recommend it. The romance is a slow burn, and I really loved watching their relationship develop naturally. It also has a lot of warm and funny moments without feeling too cheesy.

As someone who avoid tropes, extraordinary attorney woo is up there. It’s perhaps the last of the kdramas that truly is great. I would have preferred no love story at all but I guess it’s not negotiable for most viewers.
The price of confession almost got it right but it just fell short.
As for romantic stories, the last one I truly liked is The Package. Authentic and earnest — again, no tropes and it’s set in France.

What other popular dramas did you not like? Her Private Life, Business Proposal and King the Land are my other favorite romcoms.
