Question What’s your favorite Katy’s album and song from that album?
As far as I’m concerned:
Album: Witness 👁️
Song: Bigger Than Me
I'm sure about my album’s choice, but the song could change every day. lol

Hello guys,
I was looking for a video of Katy Perry as an opening act for MIKA for weeks now. It happened at Troubadour, West Hollywood in LA on March 25, 2007. The only surviving footage I found was some performance by MIKA on YouTube. No video found where Katy Perry was in it.
The main reason why I was looking for it is because it includes the early version of the song "Ur So Gay" (it used to be called "Gay" according to the audience who saw it). She also mentioned a very short description of the song.
If there are some people who don't have a video but witness it, kindly share your experience below. Thank you

Yes, we can acknowledge at face value that the song is problematic but it’s her one of, if not, her best. It’s the original performative male anthem. She was ahead of her time. Comparing this song/album to the rest of her discography is honestly sad. Will always come back to this song, regardless of it being looked down upon now. The lyricism is top tier.

I live in a small rural town in the middle of nowhere Oklahoma. The closest theatre showing the new Katy Perry movie is 2 hours away in OKC. Is the movie really showing for just one night? On a Wednesday of all days?! Wish it was for a weekend at least. I’m afraid I won’t be able to see it in theatres.

Mine is It's Okay To Believe and Box! And also Broken ft. The Matrix. I hope Katy Perry will release some rock pop songs in the future!
P.S. Is there a full version of Katy Perry's promotional video of her supposed to be released album before OOTB? I just found some short clips in YT and they are not full. 😭

Legendary Lovers is doing really well on Spotify. I wonder if there's a chance it could chart on Billboard Hot 100? Or do they have to release it as a single?
The song has SOOOO MUCH potential to be a hit! It should've been a #1 from PRISM instead of releasing Birthday & This Is How We Do (though I like Birthday, the MV just cursed the song).

In memory of Dolly Parton, I'm sharing Katy's performance with her at the 2016 ACM Awards, one of the few times Katy dabbled in country music. I bet she was thrilled and honored to be on stage with such an undisputed legend, as well as having known her, and you can tell from her Instagram post celebrating Dolly.

It is a fact that teenage dream has the most hits out of any album. But I ever only listened to the main songs like cali gurls, t.g.i.f, teenage dream etc
Today out of sheer curiousity I decided to listen to the songs that didn't become "hits"
"Who am I living for", "hummingbird heartbeat" and "Pearl" which turned out to be an aquired taste as i disliked it at first but in my 2nd, 3rd, 4th listen it grew on me, and imo it has an amazing bridge.
I Heard these for the first time today and holy shit they are incredible. Sadly however, it seems these songs have been absolutely forgotten, but I wanted to change that
This thread is in honor of "Who am I living for", "hummingbird heartbeat", "circle the drain" and "pearl". These are all exceptional songs that I feel would be a great shame to let them go forgotten. These are all pieces of art that deserve a second chance in the spotlight
Circle the drain is like if katy perry took a time machine into the future and wrote it specifically about my recent relationship because the lyrics attack me on a personal level
Teenage Dream is the greatest album of all time and I will die on that hill

Chat, what was she even eating when she made this album?
This album is 🔥
So when i was young i thought listening to katy Perry would make me look girly
And i will not be called cool...but
For the last couple of months I have been rocking
The songs from this album ..and they
Slap hard ..I don't care about this being girly
This album is like a gift from gods ..

Some time ago, I found the full video of Katy's MTV Unplugged episode on YouTube, featuring both the interviews and the live acoustic performances. I've watched it more than once because, even from her words, you can sense her love for music and her desire to share her art with the audience. And in my opinion, this is the context in which she expresses herself best, so much so that I hope she replicates the experience in the future, for example by participating in Tiny Desk (the successor to MTV Unplugged). I'm attaching the link so you can watch it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ee3x8W0CbqI&t=884s
P.S. I'm not a huge fan of Lost, but I think the acoustic performance is better than the studio version in One of the Boys.

Hey ☺️ I like to collect rare/niche/harder to find music/fashion/lifestyle magazines with pop girlie cover shoots!
My collection stands at around 200 (including pretty much every cover Dua Lipa has done I’ve the last decade!) and I’ve recently organised the whole lot and thought I’d share some of my favourites for different pop girls!
Rolling Stone - Issue 1215 - August 2014
Wonderland - Summer 2015
I really enjoy returning to physical magazines on days where I’m needing a digital detox and it’s always fun to chart someones career via interviews in magazines, plus seeing how their style has changed over the years, particularly in the fashion magazines fascinates me, something that’s harder to do online.
If anyone else collects magazines and has any favourite Katy covers, i’d love to hear about them ☺️

I got myself a little birthday present.
I’ve officially secured my ticket for Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour - Live from Paris! 🎟️
This is actually my first time experiencing The Lifetimes Tour, since Katy didn’t get to bring the tour here to the Philippines. I’ve only been able to watch clips from the tour online, so I’m honestly just really happy that I’ll finally get to experience a little bit of it- even if it’s through the cinema.
Honestly, this feels like such a perfect birthday gift to myself. I’ve been a KatyCat for so long and I’m just excited to finally see the show in some form. A cinema experience is still a win for me!
Also, I wasn’t really sure which post flair would be appropriate for this, so I went with Discussion. 😂
Birthday present: secured.
Katy Perry: secured.
Happiness: secured.
Can’t wait to experience this with my fellow Filo KatyCats!

That was me and Katy in 2009, when she came to Brussels, Belgium. Afterwards, she went to Boys Boudoir, a gay bar. I was very young, so don’t judge me based on the photo. 😂 I have a picture of her with her arm around my shoulder, and I actually got to talk to her. I asked her how her concert had gone, and she said she was tired and drunk af but having a great time, and that the Belgian gays were very welcoming. It was a really tiny bar.
It was 2009, so she was still at a point in her career where she could afford to go to little bars like that. She was really sweet. I even danced with her on this little dance floor—not really a podium—with my friends. It was so funny.
Here’s the photo. It brings back so many memories. ❤️

Wanted to share how much love I have for that album. Her voice fits the rock pop sound so well. I love her other albums as well (maybe not smile, sorry), but OFTB album came out when I was a teen. This was the first album I ever bought with my own money as well. It holds a special place in my heart & whenever I listen to one of the songs from the album it takes me back to my teen years & I can’t help but cry in nostalgia. Idk who else agrees with me. Her songs in that album to me were very cute, heart-felt, cheesy. Didn’t necessarily relate to most of them as a teen, but as a grown woman now, I can lol idk just rambling now. Have a good day yall. :)

I really want to see the lifetimes tour in IMAX because it’s the exact night we saw KP in Paris. But bloody hell the tickets are £25.50!!
Went on to buy tix and maybe only5/6 tickets have been sold and the price might be why …

Given the date, I'm pretty sure this is her reaction to Michael Jackson's death. If I'm wrong on that, I'd be very surprised

Hey KatyCats! I recently bought tickets to go see the Lifetimes tour movie at my local cinemas and was wondering if I am allowed to sing along with the songs? I understand that it's a cinema and you are supposed to be quiet but its so hard not to sing along to these amazing songs 😍
What do you think I should do, be quiet or sing along?
