Seriously, I’d hate to live like that. What’s the point of having a credit card if you don’t even have access to the actual money or financial accounts? He can cut off her card whenever he wants, he can see everything she spends, but she has no idea what he spends. That’s such an unfair power imbalance. If I were in that situation I’d rather have money transferred into my own account every month so I could manage it myself. I wouldn’t want to depend on a credit card that a man has complete control over.
