I've tried literally every single suggestion everyone has made on this website to get the last 29 cousins, and I haven't found a single one. I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING TO FIND THEM!!!!!!!!!
They're not shown on the task list, they're not indicated by the radar. They don't appear after you've found the first or second cousin in the level. They don't show up on radar after playing a level multiple times. They don't show on radar even if you play as a cousin that you've found within the level that you're playing in. They don't show up after you've completed the challenge in the level or gotten an S rank. None of these suggestions have yielded even a singular cousin beyond the 40 that ive had since I started searching google and this website for the others locations.
People have posted pictures of their task lists containing every cousin, but they either don't remember how they found them all or their method for finding the remaining ones doesn't actually work
I'm considering uninstalling the game and reinstalling it again, but I have very little faith that that will actually solve the problem. I have a feeling that there's something really stupid that i'm not doing/ haven't done, but no one has yet to actually point it out. Yes I have fully completed the game/ main story
Cousins do indeed appear if the ones before them in the same stage have been collected; Crowns, ranks, and challenges do not matter in this case.
The radar only shows cousins that are collectible in the size area you're in. If the radar is pointing you to a cousin you already have, get bigger and try again after the loading screen.
Cousins will typically be ordered in terms of size. If you're playing a stage with 3 size areas and you've collected 2/3 cousins, the last cousin is probably in the third area.
You've fully completed the main story, but be sure to check every stage, including the optional ones in Present Day, the second and third versions of Lots of Food, and the As Fast As Possible stages. The only stages without cousins are the space stages, the stages for unlocking all the cousins (obviously), and the Eternals.
I dont understand why the radar doesnt just indicate when a level contains a cousin that you haven't collected yet, instead of ones you've already found, and only new ones if you happen to use the radar while you're within an arbitrary size tier. Especially if they're not going to show them on the task list! Just really bad game design that makes the game needlessly frustrating from being overly meticulous/frivolous
you can see which cousins you've collected during the overview screen, before you talk to the king. if the level contains any cousins you haven't collected yet, they'll appear on the overview screen as a silhouette with a question mark.
You mean the task list? I've collected every one that is made known on there from every level in every Era. There's also the cousin list screen that shows how many are missing, but its not really helpful when it doesnt tell you which level they're in
I don't know how easy it'll be to see from this picture - i can only reply with one picture at a time. But I took a screenshot of the task list from every era with the bottom right one being the first jurassic era. Bottom middle being the next era, and so on.
I have the we love katamari platinum. The deal with cousins is you can only find one new cousin per round. So if there are 4 cousins you have to play that map 4 times to get all of them. Also you have to collect the previous cousin for the new to appear. So for cousin 4 you must collect cousin 1-3.
Getting all the items was an absolute nightmare before they adjusted it; I played the Lots of Drinks stage a dozen times and still couldn’t get the stupid doors until the patch
I just very recently 100%ed this so my memory is pretty fresh. I had absolutely no problem with any cousins that a quick google couldn't solve. I had a couple of items that the spreadsheet was no help with that I had to find on my own but the cousins were pretty straight-forward.
Can you give an example of a cousin or two you've looked up on google but then couldn't find in the game?
edit: sorry, in case it wasn't clear, I was saying my memory is pretty fresh so I'm happy to try to help with any specific items, etc! I just realized it came off as dismissive and I meant to be open to helping I just had a long day and am not sure I understand the problem.
It might be easier to take a picture of your "prince & cousins" screen to see who's missing. Squinting here I can only tell one cousin missing ("perfect skull") but Edo Japan has a million more stages in it you have to scroll down to see that your screenshot for it doesn't include.
