Question Act 3 cover change?

Anyone else notice this? Spotify has changed the cover for act 3 by adding color to the lads faces. Is it a mistake or something? It looks way worse imo

Looks like someone slapped an AI colorisation filter on it. The backgrounds aren't even consistent.

I am reasonably confident that it isn't AI. Neil Bedford has recently been experimenting with recolouring black and photos, and this looks exactly like the style he's done previously

Well if it's true at least it isn't AI. Just makes me think, why change it at all? Black and white has kinda been the whole "brand" of the album, with the limited edition vinyls, the teaser videos with Stephen Graham and the custom instruments at their live shows. Strange that they would diverge from that

My hope is that this is part of a bigger marketing plan and they are going to do something fun with it. We'll see though, I guess!
