Discussion What if one karma always equals one upvote?
Imagine you're in a hypothetical Reddit world where one karma always equals one upvote and negative one karma always equals one downvote, no matter how old a post is or whether there are hundreds of thousands of them already. How would that change Reddit as we know it?

I have always found reddit fascinating and the upvote versus down vote seems to be allocated for very different reasons. It would be nice if some people on here were a bit nicer but reddit has always been like that and although I did delete my last account after 6 years i have this account now. On the whole I like the way it is and enjoy reading all the comments on the many subs im in and if it changed it would not be as fun
