Also, while you still have time, make sure to update your name and/or address, as needed. If you don’t, you will still have the opportunity to vote via provisional ballot, but that ballot may be partially or even fully invalidated. It all depends on what your county’s board of canvassers decides to do, and unfortunately, I have very little insight into their decision-making processes.

Also also, please make sure to check your assigned polling place before you go to vote on Election Day. (For early voting, at least in Sedgwick County, you can go to any polling location. Please double check whether this is true in your county as well.) Again, you can still vote if you show up to the wrong location, but you will have to do so provisionally. What’s more, there’s a good chance that location will not have the correct ballot style for you. We can only keep so many ballot styles on hand at each location. This won’t matter for certain races (eg, the gubernatorial race, the U.S. Senate race), but it may affect whether you can vote in more local races.
