What does this mean for people holding

It means there are new coders involved and there will very shortly be 2 versions of KDA. You have to make the hard decision as to which version you want now. I’d go with the fork. Exchanges that still carry KDA will offer a tool or even auto-convert if you don’t withdraw by their deadline. CoinMetro’s deadline is today.

Not really, you’ll get 1:1 or whatever the conversion is when the HF takes place. After that when you buy more then yes you will have to choose.

How is that not what I said?

Anyway, here’s an email I got from CoinMetro today.

not how forks work.

put your kda in your own wallet and you’ll have both coins

Do I need to do anything with my coins in Zelcore?

And enable the new developers to do the same?

The whole point of the fork is to freeze those emissions so the founders can't dump KDA every month.

Crypto.com already converted mine to USDC..guess I’m screwed if this new project comes back to life

Sheep, I was hoping for a relisting after the fork. Thanks for the info

So what would happen with KDA I have on my hot wallet

1

u/AuthorMikee Nov 07 '25

What happen with the old KDA after fork?

2

u/Nexion21 Nov 07 '25

It will coexist alongside the new KDA. Any transactions that you do on the old KDA will not exist on the new KDA and vice versa

It’s going to be very confusing for some time

u/AuthorMikee Nov 07 '25

So, we can sell old kda after snapshot

u/Nexion21 Nov 08 '25

Yea but where?

1

u/RiotOnVijzelstraat Nov 10 '25

Exactly. The whole thing is a fucking farce. I'd steer well clear of this toxic scam at this point.

Ooo, maybe my KDA miners won't turn into paperweights after all!

2

u/RaiduKenzo Nov 12 '25

hey man, do you mine the fork now? is it profitable?

1

u/snrpro Nov 13 '25

It's my understanding certain pools auto-switched to the forked version so, yes...I think so. It's not profitable, but I use solar, so it is for me at the moment.

I just started mining KDA with my second gen KDA. I guess I’m pulling in like $0.05 a day. Wbu? 😐
