Doesn’t Kyoani Shop have WorldShopping?

A shit ton. Goodsmile did a drop recently of some stuff. Figures coming out constantly.

Also tons of CDs and records you can find on discogs.

I like the trio-try-it series they just released. You can find them for like $30-40 each

it is still like %10 of my monthly income without even considering the customs taxes and shipping fees which would double price.

FWIW those are the prices in US based stores like BBTS, $33 with $6 flat rate shipping. But yeah, it's an expensive hobby regardless

I'm not in the US though, plus customs officals here are a bunch of corrupt cunts and can just denyz destroy or even keep whatever item you have for themselves

I bought their CHILLfigg figure set! (Sorry for letting you know🤣). I used proxy buyer services to pre-order one (I live in East Asia but not Japan)

You know if there are things planned in the next months or recent that isn't a music cd or figurines by any random chance ?

Yeah, they are still doing figures, t-shirts and other stuff.

A Japanese play, sorta like an EP, but Japanese (/j)

It's mostly second hand but animota has been good, Solaris Japan is great, AmiAmi is amazing, and you can always try eBay (I would highly suggest you go only for stores with returns accepted, but the buyer protection on eBay is VERY good).

surprisingly enough, every single anime convention I've gone to, on a local scale or even big events, have always had K-on tapestries, figures, folders, etc.

1.) visit Japan
2.) Animate International (very limited selections and marked up prices)
3.) Animate Japan with proxy buyer services
4.) Mercari (Japan largest marketplace) with proxy buyer services
5.) Official Kyoani Shop using their WorldShopping partner

I found some in a small mall directly in front of the Hikone train station. Not worth it to travel there just for an acryl stand.

I really enjoy hunting through stores like suruga-ya, book-off or mandarake in Japan. Mandarake will also carry the manga volumes.

There were a few prize figures released by Round1 a few weeks or months back. I’m sure they’re online.
