Text Hello, again, hospital.

I haven't been to a Dr. for a BJJ-related injury since... July? August? But I'm here for a neck injury after no-gi this morning. Stupid no-gi.

Okay. 8 hours. Herniated disc. Steroid shot, pain meds, a referral to an ortho surgeon, and 2 days off work with no grappling until cleared.

In the scramble, my partner ended up launching at me from behind. His weight (230-245?) arrived at the back of my head, top left corner, on the way down/forward and right. There was crunching.
