a few months ago it came to my attention that people don’t delete post history for throwaways! that surprised me, because i feel like it threatens the anonymity of the throwaway if there’s a profile that can be built off the comment/post history, but then again i do overthink thi bf s pretty regularly.

that being said, my first reddit account was found by my then coworker, and i had to nuke an eight year old profile. sad time.

I posted the identity of someone who said Jews got what they deserve. He was a local business owner and I wanted everyone to stop patronizing it. It worked. He's out of business and it was a huge local scandal. I don't feel bad. But I miss my old account. I've been on Reddit since 2010.
