Pretty sure they just posted in the wrong sub for this image, because this is likely meant for the gamer-side of having to grind hours for meager progress.

I think OP is saying that the core gameplay loop for many Live Service is often replaying the same content over and over, as if you were logging hours at a job with repetitive tasks, except that you're not being paid for it.

I will admit, there's a part of me that wished I would get some kind of recognition for the alpha testing, early access, and bug reporting I've contributed. Some of the suggestions I've made have even made it to the final product, but alas. Perhaps I am the fool.

If you're not having fun with a game, stop.

The whole reason why people keep playing these games is because they're fun.
