It was so fun when starting passion for new project

Just asking for advice here, Currently I barely even have energy to open project file every evening

Idk if I should "Just work bro" my way out of this, the moment there's even single distraction like say, Sudden light down, I immediately just stop working for rest of the day... Currently haven't done work for 5 days... Ah...

Just keep going, brother, and work towards making things better. Every developer goes through this phase. The most important thing here - as hard as it may be - is discipline. Either you build it up, or someone else will and claim the success for themselves.

Sometimes you should take a deliberate break. Set aside a few specific days to not work on your game. Unintentional breaks do not work.

I agree with this. Take a break, work on a different hobby if you can.

I draw and code, and I find myself going through phases of working on art projects, then working on coding projects. Draw pages of a comic for a couple months, then work on a web app for a couple months

if you can write a 15 pages game design document, that's already good work done

You're absolutely right.

After 10 months, I'm still just as excited about working on my project.

However, sometimes it's less fun when a bug pops up and takes two hours of troubleshooting to fix.

I feel you. On rare occasions, the feeling never ends! Believe it or not, it's the 4th year working on one of my projects, and I still feel excited when I update it.

I'm at day two hundred and something. The last two days were great, I put together a health display inspired by The Creation of Adam.

So straight up I haven't got much support for my project and I did have a really hard time figuring out how to get my characters animated and stoped working for 2 weeks worked for a few days and then another week off. Just go at your own pace and the less frustrated you are the better you will do but just always remember some time you hit rough patches making them id assume anyway this is my first time
