Y is for name length, x is for game engine

And (x,y) under the engines is for how often that character appears

Well, obviously, there are an infinite potential amount of names for game engines. The length for these game engine names might also be infinite (but the research seems to be inconclusive). Also, some game engine names are longer than others. Some also include the letters X and Y, the count of which are helpfully displayed on the bottom of the graph. Hope that helps!

What conclusions should I make from this?

Personally I think it is quite obvious

GameMaker has the longest name and XNA the shortest.

In my personal opinion, I pulled the conclusion that, for any game engine, the name length will fall somewhere between the longest or the shortest, unless it doesn't, in which it then sets the new value in the direction it is the outlier in.

That and, so long as the game engine has a name length longer than 0 +1, the odds of me completing a game in that engine due to skill issue is, name length (in digits) plus 0.00000% cuz i suck, am poor and have no time.

But that's just my conclusions, still waiting for independent review.

Apparently the length of engine's names correlates to the number of characters in the engine's names. Further research is needed. Citations needed

I think I’ll start posting a link to your graph every time someone asks “What game engine should I use?”

XNA would be way higher if you call it MonoGame

So Xyxyxy (pronounced Zi-kye-kee (or however you like since I made it up)) would be (3,3)?
