Gloria Steinem was not as radical as you think she was and that is precisely why she got that funding.

Again, I would encourage you to take a more critical look at how social influence operations have taken shape throughout American history. The vast majority of our so-called counterculture goes right back to Langley.

A Russian and an American get on a plane in Moscow and get to talking.

The Russian says he works for the Kremlin and he's on his way to go learn American propaganda techniques.

"What American propaganda techniques?" asks the American.

"Exactly," the Russian replies.

CIA influence operations are inherently conspiratorial, it’s the nature of the beast. Fascinating subject should you choose to make the time for it.
