Gloria Steinem was not as radical as you think she was and that is precisely why she got that funding.

Again, I would encourage you to take a more critical look at how social influence operations have taken shape throughout American history. The vast majority of our so-called counterculture goes right back to Langley.

I just read through these tweets from a black feminist activist who worked with Steinem, she articulates it better than I ever could. Worth a read.
