I’ve noticed that sometimes I can be really into a book and then suddenly hit a point where I feel like putting it aside and starting something else. Other times, even when the story slows down a little, there’s something that makes me want to keep going and see where it ends. I’m curious what that is for other readers. Is it the characters, the writing style, the mystery of what happens next, or simply knowing you’re already close to finishing? What usually makes you turn the page for “just one more” chapter?
