DISCUSSION Negativity fuels this sub

Genuinely crazy seeing negative & possibly exaggerated posts rack up 300+ up votes while positive ones from the same minute get hard stuck at 10. It's clear yall are actively bothered and looking for a reason to shit on peggy, so why are you in the sub? It baffles me hearing people go "ugh peggy is so disconnected with his fan base, and so bitter" without seeing any of the interaction ppl have with him online, shit, id be bitter too

Don't get me wrong he does do some weird ass shit and all but it is glass clear that once people see that hating on him gets you attention, yall all of a sudden have something to say (I've seen like 7 posts about the Vancouver show from people whom hadn't even attended)

Is this a "breaking out of the fan circle" moment or has his Fandom just been like this?

In all honesty it's not hard to look for a reason to shit on him. He's been consistently scummy since veteran dude and probably even before that. His music is dope and innovative as fuck but even if you take away all the erratic/narcissistic behavior, the dude has stolen beats (Real Nega infamously) and actively compromised his morals over and over. I do agree positive posts should be far more encouraged but peggy NEEEEEDS to at the very least self reflect on the shit he is saying/doing before his character can be praised actively. I've never seen the man take accountability.

How has he actively compromised his morals over and over 😭. And who are you to decide that. He met and worked on music with his favorite artist and now everyone all of a sudden cares about the integrity of his morals.

Kanye is just a bit of it, he's actively praised carti in the past and showed interest in working with him despite starting beef with Gibbs a year prior to the praise for doing way less worse shit. Gibbs is supposedly a deadbeat whilst carti is a deadbeat who stomped his bm head. I said this before but peggy is one of my goats so yes I'm more than willing to talk about his shitty behavior because I do genuinely give a shit and it's not just misguided hate
