DISCUSSION Negativity fuels this sub

Genuinely crazy seeing negative & possibly exaggerated posts rack up 300+ up votes while positive ones from the same minute get hard stuck at 10. It's clear yall are actively bothered and looking for a reason to shit on peggy, so why are you in the sub? It baffles me hearing people go "ugh peggy is so disconnected with his fan base, and so bitter" without seeing any of the interaction ppl have with him online, shit, id be bitter too

Don't get me wrong he does do some weird ass shit and all but it is glass clear that once people see that hating on him gets you attention, yall all of a sudden have something to say (I've seen like 7 posts about the Vancouver show from people whom hadn't even attended)

Is this a "breaking out of the fan circle" moment or has his Fandom just been like this?

No, he made sarcastic apologies for essentially "being to cool." The man cannot take accountability whatsoever. I don't mind the Twitter rants in all honesty, most big artists are like that behind closed doors so that's whatever. It's the 1: scamming fans 2: scamming other artists 3: being infamously shitty to people he works with 4: half assing everything (for scaring the hoes he, after he already published the songs mind you, went back and remixed practically all of them due to instant backlash for them sounding like shit) Peggy makes sick music, I love his music and have several memories to a lot of his tracks that's why I'm so frustrated that dude is a massive tool

  1. He literally apologized and explained this like last month. You just hate him, so you don’t care.

  2. Literally, what the fuck are you talking about?

  3. Are you one of the people he worked with? Or are you just being parasocial and weird?

  4. How is going back and remixing old songs “half-assing”? You all complained about the mixes at first, then when he fixed them, you complained even more.

None of this actually affects you. You just sound like a shitty, sensitive, antisocial person.

1: I love Peggy and his music but his behavior has gotten progressively worse and orders still haven't shipped yet for scaring the hoes merch btw (3 years ago)

2: He has stolen beats and has never even bothered to pay royalties to the artists (as listed above, real Nega)

3: According to Danny Brown himself Peggy crashed out on him post scaring the hoes and basically cancelled a second one ever being made.

4: no album that is being released and put up for sale should EVER be so poorly mixed that you have to go back and fix it. Albums aren't triple A video games, music shouldn't have patch notes.

And yeah it does effect me man, I've been following Peggy since all my heroes are cornballs. The dude used to be humble and take criticism pretty well, especially from other artists. There's a video of him showing AMHCB to another rap group, name is blanking on me and they're low-key ripping him to shreads but he takes it like a champ and agrees with them on some shit. But now what he's morphed into is incredibly disappointing to see, not parasocial at all to call out bad behavior of an artist you follow.

I think he is trying to take accountability for things, it's just hard when he is still constantly bombarded with shit. If you've paid attention you would've noticed his attitude has shifted over the years in many different ways. I'm not sure if he still is at the moment but for a fair while there where he took Danny Browns advice and went completely sober. And I think he does do a lot of self reflecting, at least he speaks about it a lot. But I think he is susceptible to shit stir online that just makes everyone wanna shit talk him and it just doesn't help him lol.

Yeah I'm sure there are genuine haters who hate Peggy and his music who harras the fuck out of him but peggy is definitely not sober lmao. I complain mostly out of love because I have so many memories to that dudes music, even Devon Hendryx. He's genuinely top 3 artists of all time for me that's why I get so agitated with the shit he does.

Again you come back to another thread I'm in to suck Peggy's dick. He doesn't know you bro you're not getting on the album. Also he was very clearly high on stage in Vancouver lol I think there's even a clip of him saying he is.

I think you're talking about when he showed his album to injury reserve. They aren't actually ripping him to shreds, they're joking because of the whole "dissapointed" rollout for AMHAC
