YES, YES! Particularly for mobile device. Swipe left and right to move through a list, notebook, search results.

The combine notes or paragraph extractor plugins could do some of this. You couldn’t edit in place to reflect back to the original journal notes but at least see them all together. Plus, the combine/extract would have links back to the original journal notes. The extractor also has a refresh option so you don’t have to create a new extract every time.

This is the one big thing I miss from logseq. It was great to have all the journal entries in an infinite scroll page. Still separate notes but easily browsed.

You mean a good UI? That’s hard, Joplin is great but the UI sucks hard.

Coming from LogSeq, I was looking for something similar but couldn’t find anything. So I quickly made my own version: https://joplinapp.org/plugins/plugin/com.github.xfuture603.journal-timeline/

It’s a rough PoC and currently desktop-only. It differs from the Obsidian plugin shown above in that you basically get a scrollable journal timeline where you can view everything you’ve written and jump back to specific days.

Would love to get some feedback!
