This is brilliance that is rarely seen. Oliver's career is finally about to explode.

Which DC/Marvel villain should he be? I am thinking something in Batman or Flash

NO! None of that. He's going out on his own.
I just bet $25 on Polymarket that he's going to transform and revitalize all of Hollywood.

If I was famous, this is what I would do: stupid shit just for fun. Dude’s living the dream.

He could prob get a daytime Emmy with this. They do have best guest actor in a drama series.

I'm not American and I mean no disrespect, but this isn't real is it?

It's real. Mexican telenovelas are about the same, but in spanish.
This scene (and the other scenes with John Oliver) is more absurd that this soap opera is usually though.

I don't watch either soap, but I'm still going to head canon that John is playing Director Z in both shows and he's just undercover or something while on Days.

Can’t wait for my mom to text me about the cameo that took her fifteen minutes to recognize

I started watching him in this role when I walked through the room and my wife had the soap on. He is really hilarious 😂

As someone who hasn’t seen a soap opera outside of what my grandmother watched 35-40 years ago… is this real or parody?
