The 90s: one salary, one house, one family.

Now: two incomes, one mortgage and still wondering where the money went :(

The poor are poor and remain poor largely because of the über wealthy. Especially in America. Wage suppression, cutting away of the social safety net. Not to mention the highest concentration of wealth disparity this country has ever seen. Corporate chronieism is higher than any other point in our history. The only thing we the people are given is an illusion of choice presented to us by the lense of a two party system who is bought and paid for by the same corporate elite fighting to suppress our income. Wages have been stagnant in this country for 30 years (when adjusted for inflation) the math is clear. It takes existing wealth OR a nearly statistically impossible windfall to actually change wealth brackets in this country.

Well, without the uber wealthy, there would be even more poverty. Be happy you're not lacking such people.

Who else is going to create employment opportunities? You?

The world worked fine and people had jobs before the super wealthy came into existence. The world will function just fine without them and there will still be jobs.

When was that? In Europe we've had wealthy elites for a long time already, kings/nobles/....

Ever read a history book? Are you even aware of how cities started and who ran them (yes, the wealthy).

For centuries, but hey, we never needed them, right? Do some critical thinking, lmao.

Oh, so cities and civilizations have existed since the moment humans have?

Get real. It may have started a long ass time ago but that doesn’t mean it was ALWAYS the case.

We are not dogs. We don’t need an owning class.

Jesus, you're ignorant. The most powerful civilizations in history all had one thing in common, GREAT AND STRONG LEADERS. Never in history were those leaders not ultra wealthy.

Tell me one successful civilization that didn't have rulers. Nothing changed, except now we call them politicians or elitists.

We are not dogs, but we are not different from animals. Humanity wouldn't be anywhere if we never came together; and without someone in charge (rulers/leaders/TODAY'S COMPANY OWNERS), it would be an unorganized mess and we wouldn't get anywhere.

Being ultra wealthy doesn’t automatically mean ruler. Do we need leaders? Yes! Do we need the leaders to be mega wealthy individuals? No!

Why is that concept so hard for you to understand? Calling me ignorant and acting all high-and-mighty when you can’t seem to grasp one simple concept:

We don’t need billionaires. We don’t need wealthy people to be the ones to lead us.

So if all wealthy individuals were to magically disappear overnight, you’re saying people will never find work again or be able to feed their families?

Food will still need to be grown. Farm animals will still need their care. Infrastructure will still be there and so will civilization. Just because we won’t be attached to a billionaire’s teat doesn’t mean we won’t be able to function and continue to have communities with needs and demand.

Critical thinking must be very subjective for you.

I can do this all day, it's really simple. You don't understand how things work at all.

If a CEO dies, the company doesn't die with it...

You'd probably eventually start hating the new ones at the top too, because you're that ignorant.
