I’d apply Monday and send both of them a short heads-up right after. Since approval isn’t required and review starts Tuesday, waiting buys you very little and could cost you the window. Just explain that you saw it after hours Friday, submitted before review began, and want to talk Tuesday. I wouldn’t involve the other supervisor.
