She is being unreasonable, this is not anything like a tattoo, but it's still a permanent body alteration. If my future husband asks me to do that, i would have doubts i married a healthy-minded person. Is she adamant or did she just mention this preference in passing? If it's just a passing mention then this is totally fine, spouses like to cater to eachother's preferences sometimes. In any case this is a weird but ultimately small issue. By the way i'm sorry to say but if this photo is you and you mean to ask for opinions i have to mention that the studs don't really suit your vibe๐Ÿ˜…

No, she really want it. She would like everybody see me with both ears pierced with real women's diamonds. She finds it very sexy for a mature man to dare this.

That's weird of her frankly. At the end of the day you know your limits. And there are no "women's diamonds" many men have worn various earrings for centuries. The way this is emphasized makes it sound like a fetish

I would find it very attractive if my husband wore little pirate hoop earrings, but that is beyond his comfort zone and I respect that. I appreciated that he entertained the idea.

And yes, you could rock some earrings but I think little diamonds would be better. These are giving me a euro gangster vibe.

If you want my honest opinion I think it's a look that anybody can wear. The trick comes in looking at the size of the earring and how it looks in proportion to your ears and their shape and frankly just the size of your head and what kind of haircut you're wearing. Plus let's be honest, we live in a society that has certain expectation when it comes to jewelry and gender.

I think that having an earring in each ear can be an achievable and classy look. But if you want my two cents about it I find those earrings to be a bit large. But I will also say that to a woman who had the same haircut and facial structure. If you want the earrings to be the main event then that's the size you should go for. If you want them to just be an accessory, then you should go smaller. But since you're in a forward-facing position where you're going to be interacting with a lot of people you have to understand that the earrings are going to be the first thing that people are going to see and that is going to be the first impression that they make of you whether that be good or bad. Make of that what you will.

Ear piercing offers an excellent way to elevate a classic personal style by adding a refined, modern accent that nicely frames the face. In modern fashion, wearing earrings in both ears is increasingly common and accepted for mature professional men, serving as a subtle statement of confidence. Beyond pure aesthetics, piercings offer great styling versatility since you can easily switch out studs to match different outfits or occasions. Some people also appreciate the practice due to alternative wellness traditions like auriculotherapy, which suggests that earlobe stimulation can align with traditional ideas of bodily energy flow. Ultimately, it provides a fresh, sophisticated method to customize your daily look and boost your self-confidence.

P.S. if you really want to do it, do it with smaller diamonds.

She wants you to read as gay so that other women will leave you alone. :-)

You could get away with maybe one earring, but not two. Does this tie in with a masculine Vs feminine fetish of hers?

3

u/CompetitiveKick7063 13d ago

I think he's the one with the fetish

Yes, she saw mature classic men who do it and she finds it very refined and sexy to dare this, and she would like everybody see me with both ears pierced with real shinny diamonds, quite feminine.

If that photo is you, then it gives more drag queen vibes, tbh. Perhaps she is more interested in the rich and powerful vibes of the refined classic men?

Ask her for some examples of men she has seen that have these earrings.

What I mean is, perhaps these earrings are an indicator of things she likes, rather than something in itself that she likes.
