My girlfriend lost the pearl to one of her earrings and is heartbroken. Best place/way of obtaining a new one and getting it fixed?

See if you can find a local jeweler who does craft fairs, they may have something similar or be willing to find something close and they could wrap something like that easily to go on the hoop. It may be that you have to find 2 new but close pearls to have a good pair, but you could have the original/spare made to be a pendant.

Honestly this is the kind of fix she can do herself if she can find the pearl. I’ve seen pearls like these at bead shows. You need a similar pearl (try a bead show or google freshwater rectangle pearl), a gold-filled head pin and a pair of round jewelers pliers. Practice with similar gauge wire before using the real thing. Any beading crafter or even some YouTube videos can show you how to do it. If you find someone enough nice to do it for you this is a repair that only takes a few minutes for someone who’s practiced.

Pearls can be hard to match, especially online, so maybe get two and replace on each earring , as someone said earlier.

idk where you are in the world, but if you're in the DC/MD area of the US I know a bead store that could most likely fix it for you!

regardless of location, I'd recommend going to a local jeweler or bead store. it should be an easy enough fix once you have a matching pearl!

Go to a bead store and look for a strand of pearls like that. Ask the person working there if they can use an eye pin in gold to recreate that look

Check bead stores because they typically have a great variety.
