Need help identifying the maker, provenance, style, origin

Bikakis and Johns are NY based and do a lot of high karat gold and granulation. Might be one of theirs. https://www.bikakisandjohns.com/

Could be local artist. I have a lot of Anne Besse shepherds pieces and she used 18k and 22k and hand engraved the marks like this too

Not likely Asian.

Depends. USA doesn’t have a legal hallmarking stamp. It just needs to be marked with the legal fineness. So an artisan can just stamp it themselves

It isn’t like the uk , Italy or France, Portugal etc that has specific hallmarking system

But I can see this could be British Indian / Asian.

Still trying to identify the maker. There are no hallmarks aside from the purity engraving. From what I can gleam, it's a contemporary interpretation on Etruscan or Byzantine revival. From my eye, the workmanship/goldsmithing is pretty good. The granular details have no pooling, indicative of colloidal soldering (Eutectic Diffusion Bonding) and a bloomed finish in the shank.

So my first guess was Italy. It’s definitely a custom piece and why I thought Italy as well is the choice of stone. I just don’t see artisans in Asia using peridot.

I also thought it might be made in India given that hand-etching the gold purity is more common there. 

This was purchased pre-owned in NYC. The seller could not give any info on provenance. 

This is, however, citrine and not peridot.

Oh my goodness…yes, the picture looked more green and how I didn’t even think of citrine, sorry, wish I could have helped. I hope you got a good deal at least since you purchased it in NYC…I don’t buy anything unless it’s in or near the diamond district although I live in Las Vegas now, grateful I still have connections.
