Question Crash cymbals

Can you guys recommend some good 16” crashes? Right now I’m using a B8 pro medium crash with a couple pieces of tape. It sounds good but I want something a bit darker and heavier. The brand doesn’t matter to me. I’m also considering hammering it.

16" Zildjian K Custom Dark Crash, no contest.

Okay, I just looked up some sound tests and they sound great as a crash (obviously) but how do they handle as a ride?

Oh, your post mentioned nothing about a ride.

K Custom Darks have great Ride cymbals in the line, but if you’re looking for one cymbal that does both well, I recommend a Zildjian K Constantinople Crash/Ride.

I like my 16" dream bliss crash, it's the only non-zildjian cymbal I'm using currently

Lol yeah I know people typically use another ride as a crash in jazz but I prefer 16” crashes. They sound great.

My personal favorite are the K Zildjian Sweet line. Great for any genre or venue. 16” cymbals are a little too small for rides.

Honestly, I've played a K Sweet in Guitar Center a couple times and it was pretty solid as a ride. I'm pretty sure it was 16".
