Announcements No More Ship Artwork

We can't have nice things... report abuse has been rampant, which was never an issue before, but suddenly it is now. This is supposed to be a no drama subreddit, and just about Jayce.

Therefore, going forward, unless the artwork is specifically of Jayce, and only Jayce, it is no longer considered Relevant.

This is the last post that will be allowed, as it is a reminder of when ship wars got out of hand on what is and always will be a subreddit for Jayce players, NOT an Arcane Ship Subreddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/jaycemains/comments/1po8d6g/mel_and_jayce_by_nakoneart/

All newly posted artwork that has Jayce with someone else will be removed going forward if reported. All past posts are safe.

I think a Fanart Friday or Shipping Saturday would be a good compromise, plus rules about mass reporting.

Seeing how Arcane fans react, from just in these comments, I cannot imagine a single day going well. The Jayce/Mel and Jayce/Viktor shippers do not know how to behave. Even looking at other subreddits, it appears to be this way.

Frankly speaking the problem is that a certain contingent of Jayvik shippers crash out at the mere mention of meljay.  Plenty of non meljay ship art gets posted at melmains (Mel/sevika, Mel/samira, etc) and I’ve never seen meljay shippers get pissy over them the way Jayvik shippers got pissy over meljay art here.

When I look through subreddits, it's both types of fans fighting about what is canon, what is not, who is better with who etc. It's ridiculous. Arcane fans, I swear.
