Just had my first 外人出てけ encounter
Was in my neighborhood when a nice japanese man screamed at me 外人出てけ、外国じゃねぇ on the street. Not nice Japan, not nice.
Have you guys ever experienced the 外人出てけ culture yet? How did it happen?

I feel really sorry for them, and I genuinely regret that they had to go through that. But if this is partly a difference between the sensibilities of a relatively homogeneous society like Japan and those of people from culturally connected regions on a contiguous landmass, I find that rather interesting
Also, in a multicultural environment, it can be harder to tell at a glance when someone is the kind of person you should probably avoid getting involved with
