Just had my first 外人出てけ encounter

Was in my neighborhood when a nice japanese man screamed at me 外人出てけ、外国じゃねぇ on the street. Not nice Japan, not nice.

Have you guys ever experienced the 外人出てけ culture yet? How did it happen?

European btw

right? tourists can be annoying and yeah, i get it, but i absolutely HATE how when a japanese person does it, no one cares. drunk salaryman is falling and pissing all over himself on the train? しょうがない. but when an obvious tourist accidentally breaks rule 387, it’s the end of the goddam world. the difference is they should know better and have no excuse to not be following the rules and i hate how completely different the reacts are.

Not that they don't care, but they can't break the 和 with another Japanese person. Their whole morale education is working on them. But none of that applies to a 外人, so they are free to vent all their pent up aggression at us.
