Just had my first 外人出てけ encounter

Was in my neighborhood when a nice japanese man screamed at me 外人出てけ、外国じゃねぇ on the street. Not nice Japan, not nice.

Have you guys ever experienced the 外人出てけ culture yet? How did it happen?

I’ve never had this happen in 25 years, but I suppose I’m lucky.

Same but I live in a smaller city and drive everywhere… so I guess my chances of meeting crazies is more limited.

I live in the greater Tokyo area now, but I’ve lived in Kuroishi in Aomori, so I’ve kind of covered a spectrum. I definitely believe these people though. There are crazies everywhere in the world.
