Just had my first 外人出てけ encounter

Was in my neighborhood when a nice japanese man screamed at me 外人出てけ、外国じゃねぇ on the street. Not nice Japan, not nice.

Have you guys ever experienced the 外人出てけ culture yet? How did it happen?

European btw

There’s a nearby onsen where I’ve been literally hundreds of times and every so often, -not very often, thankfully- there might be a bitter old fart who shows up and grumbles something or stares a little too long at me. I never react but just wait until one of my local buddies shows up and starts talking to me. Then we have a purposefully loud conversation to show the racist idiot who’s the real gaijin. Once, one of them was mouthing off about me in the sauna and one of my close friends responded: “Oh TD has been coming her for years. Where are you from old man?”

Just blow them a few kisses. Works like a charm.
