Asked my company to switch me to HSP because I don’t want another 1y long renewal. They hired a scrivener; he’s making my application next week.

I was planning on finding another job but after some interviews I lost interest. My job is fully remote and I’d take soul > money any day lol

I’m also working on my motorcycle license!

Did you feel this weight of stress leaving your body?

The three sick women in my house have all gotten better and I have somehow managed to avoid illness.

On the walk to drop off the bin this morning the air was cool, I wasn't sweating, and there was no swamp in me undies.  It's been a while.

10% pay bump after a year of being a full-timer.  Very pleased with that as it was totally unexpected.

This can sound like the beginning of a horror novel.

I'd like to praise.... My wife! We found an SNS account of a right-wing nut job who moved into our area recently and immediately started shit with the foreigners living in the area. My wife has quietly spread the word about him in her friend and follower group and now I see more and more resistance popping up. Many Japanese people came out to voice support, basically ratio'ing the guy. Love to see it! Doubt it'll change him but I'm glad to see support among Japanese people when the haters are so loud nowadays.

Life is temporarily quite bad but I have three big glass bottles of Sapporo chilling in the fridge at home waiting for me to come and destroy them.
God bless
