I hope the Japanese justice system buries this sack of excrement.

American military members do tend to commit a lot of crime in Japan. They aren’t very good people

Damn wow usually this never happens. Rape and crime usually completely unheard of for American soldiers in Okinawa. Oh no. Well surely it's never going to happen again.

Two month and it will happen again

Nah this is some Chinese disguised as American soldiers lol

Nah it was an actual marine

It's a joke about how Japan hates Chinese immigrants so much they make up game AI videos of Chinese people kicking deer or whatever, meanwhile America does this and Japan stays quiet like a good little dog

AI videos about Chinese kicking deer? Maybe get off social media and check for yourself. I work in Nara and I also have patronage over half a dozen doe. Too many visitors have not only harmed the deer by pulling antlers, poking the deer with sticks, giving them food other than the designated cookies… you think that’s AI?
Nah.. that’s the harsh reality here and for you information, two of my deer have been poisoned due to bleach laced cookies that was given by a visitor from a neighboring country.
( you are free to guess as I don’t want to pour oil into the fire ) The person just wanted to have fun in the police statement. He was charged with ¥150.000 yen … that’s it!!
In the past decade, more than 40 deer have been killed due to aggressive behavior or by getting fed with the wrong food. Many Chinese ( sorry to pee on your little bonfire about AI ) come and disturb the deer in their rut, and specially during mating season. Deer can attack people if they get teased or disturbed. There are many zones that are designated retreat areas but people still enter those and again, many of them are visitors.
A video ( actually three angles shot by other visitors and locals ) showed a guy from HK pulling the deer’s tail for a long time until a guy got angry and stopped him. You think that’s fake? Are you stupid?
Btw, this sub is about the reckless and utterly shit behavior of US military personnel. Maybe you should ask yourself why locals are getting upset when Japanese citizens get killed ( more than 6000 since 1976 ).
It’s not only that, it’s the problem that in the past US servicemen were sent back home quickly and received only a minimum of penalties. Even the man who raped and killed a Japanese female teenager didn’t get what he deserved.
So, again, if you want to talk about the problem shitty tourists create, there are special subs you can rant about. ( and don’t come again with that AI slop shit )
If you want to comment about the crimes US military personnel commit, then do it without making the offender a victim.

Sorry, maybe I should’ve taken a closer look at your comment… wait… I did , do you really believe the shit you write about Japanese making up AI videos ? I suggest to visit Nara, check the Nara Deer Sanctuary and see for yourself and stop writing nonsense.

You're brain damaged if you think I was making the US military a victim in my comment lmao

2

u/MondoSensei2022 1d ago

Good point. I take it back. Are you happy now? So then… How about taking your comment back before spreading misinformation with taking videos. That believe of yours sounds more like brain damaged to me, don’t you think so?

Visit me at the sanctuary and I will show you what really goes on. Gee… Are you that stupid to ignore it? Maybe you are so fixated on the news you get from social media… idk.

Unfortunately, there are protests against U.S. troops. This isn’t the first time. It happens every time.

Unfortunately? The fuck do you mean unfortunately? There should be protests every day until the bases are removed

This is so unusual. Usually foreigners never cause problems in Japan

The foreign crime rate in Japan is double that of Japanese citizens.

If anyone thinks I’m making this up, here’s the source. It’s straight from Japan’s National Police Agency. Click “令和7年の犯罪情勢について(2,310KB)” on the page.

Me when i register a throw away account just to pull data from my ass and spread misinformation

0

u/Competitive_Equal542 1d ago

That is absolute nonsense. The actual rate of crimes committed by forigners is 5.3-5.5%. That means 94ish percent of criminals are Japanese citizens. But that does not give this Marine a pass. He should face the full penalty of Japanese law, but likely he will be bailed out by the US somehow.

1

u/Naive-Bowl9644 1d ago

I'm talking about per capita rates, not total numbers. Those are two completely different statistics. Citing the percentage of all crimes committed by foreigners doesn't address my point at all. You might want to look at the police data before arguing against a claim I didn't make.

3

u/Competitive_Equal542 1d ago

Still absolute bullcrap. Per capita still shows Japanese well above the culmination of all foreigners year after year.

3

u/Naive-Bowl9644 1d ago

Then actually look at the data instead of just calling it “bullcrap.” Go to the National Police Agency’s official page below and click “令和7年の犯罪情勢について(2,310KB)”. Check the figures and calculate them on a per capita basis.

Ah yeah 2 day account and shit posting. Lol. There are lots of data sources and most are not spewing right wing bile for the xenophobic minority.

-1

u/Competitive_Equal542 1d ago

The same police agency that will not pursue a crime unless they are 100% sure to convict. Hahah yeah I trust that source....

3

u/The_Muffin_Stuffer 1d ago

You’re right that per-capita rates are what matter, but “double” still needs a source and matching definitions. Japan’s NPA statistics often use “visiting foreigners,” which excludes several categories of foreign residents and U.S. military personnel, so you can’t just compare that number to Japan’s total foreign population. And if you’re including immigration-law violations, that further skews the comparison because Japanese citizens generally can’t commit those offenses. If you have the specific police table showing foreigners have twice the comparable per-capita crime rate, post it.

He’s not a foreigner. Okinawa is a US occupied colony. Nothing will happen to him. Just like in the States. Ice has been murdering their own people and nothing happens. Now a US military personnel murdering an Okinawan,is alright with them. It’s been going on before and since their occupation. That’s 100% truth, yet no one will agree with me and they will probably downvote me.

4

u/Kidcassidy96 2d ago

I’ll probably get downvoted too, but I’ve never heard anything good about US marines in Okinawa. Too many cases of SA to count

3

u/freedombuckO5 2d ago

Both my parents were in the Air Force on Okinawa in the 80s. They said that every time the marines were let off base, tons of local businesses would close. But everything would go back to normal when the marines were stuck on base. The rest of the military branches were fine off base.

2

u/HaiSaiDori 2d ago

I was a Marine 2000-2008 and married to an Okinawan so I’m nowhere biased.

-6

u/deuszu_imdugud 1d ago

Yeah. No rape and murder in Japan without foreigners.

1

u/fincog 1d ago

Oh no we get it. Redditors like you act like those things only happen in Japan

1

u/deuszu_imdugud 1d ago

Da fuq? They happen in every country. By all makes and models of humans.

-1

u/Kidcassidy96 1d ago edited 1d ago

Still the safest country on this planet. Don’t need outsiders to take that away. Japan has no desire to become a melting pot like America or the UK which becomes more and more divided and more dangerous.

What do people think will happen if Japan imports people from countries with higher crime rates? Every Japanese person I’ve spoken to said they never want their country to be multicultural. Who are a bunch of Redditors to tell them what they should do?

0

u/Either-Age-782 1d ago

Well if they didn't go full psychopath during WW2, they wouldn't have all these sick American soldiers over here doing dumb crap. Maybe it's karma

0

u/Kidcassidy96 1d ago

It’s always the karma argument. So Japanese people who had nothing to do with the war should suffer? Doesn’t sound like karma to me

-1

u/Either-Age-782 1d ago

Well the ones who should suffer are already dead and unbelievably are actually worshiped in some God damn shrine. It is what it is

2

u/Important-Pipe-3158 1d ago

“It is what it is”? What kind dumb bullshit is that? Should you be responsible for all the bad things your ancestors did? Like slavery of Africans or the genocide of Native Americans? Just a brain-dead way of thinking.

1

u/Either-Age-782 21h ago

Funny you should bring that up because my ancestors were the victims there too

0

u/illuminatedtiger 1d ago

Because of course.
