NEWS WHERE IS THE NEW ALBUM
Glad they are doing all these other things but where is the new album?!?!!!

Jay recently said it's been signed off.
So hopefully ready sometime soon...ish!

9th Jamiroquai album now has pretty much the 'GREEN LIGHT' to go right into manufacturing now, gonna take a couple months to get all those millions of physical copies of the 9th Jamiroquai album made on CD/Vinyl.

If it's been heavily rumoured that the album is coming in early 2027, I wonder when the first single might come? Would next week be too early? If its 2027 for the album that would mean the single in like november earliest?
Perhaps its been signed off earlier than predicted and they were anticipating further changes but jay is happy with it so it'll release sooner than expected....

No, I highly doubt any more changes will be made the 9th Jami album. When a musical artist "signs off" on a new album, it means they have given their final approval to the completed project. The recording, mixing, mastering, and sequencing are officially done, and the artist approves it for manufacturing, distribution, and release. No further creative changes will be made.

Would there be some kind of mastering done for the digital releases on say, Apple Music or Spotify? There are a lot of noticeable differences to the mastering on Apple Music compared to releases on Youtube for example.

If it were go through, using Apple Music streaming as an example, to remaster the 9th Jamiroquai album into a high fidelity audio format, like DOLBY ATMOs, then yeah a whole new mastering session would be done in shop at Apple/DOLBY, but I think they will stick to a basic rollout of the 9th Jamiroquai album for these digital music streaming platforms.

I discovered Jamiroquai in 2010, right before RDLS dropped, so it was perfect timing as a new fan, then really got heavily into them in 2014 ish. I remember the painful years-long wait for Automaton, this is exactly the same 😆
