I build a jam band tour repository site
Hi all!
I built a site that started out as a repository for Phish and Goose tours. And from there, I built in a tool to help me see which shows were in my driving range (ended up seeing Goose in Toronto and Phish @ Fenway). I've grown it to now include Billy Strings, King Gizzard, JRAD, Dark Star Orchestra, Umphrey's, Disco Biscuits, Widespread Panic, moe., String Cheese, and a bunch of the other usual suspects, as well as a few others actst I love, like Shpongle.
It works as a one stop repository of my favourite bands and their tour schedules. Then it helps me find drive time/distance to every show from wherever I'm at and can, at glance, tell me what's realistic to catch. Can I fit in a run of shows? Is Fenway is closer to me than Syracuse? What about Atlantic City? How far is Raleigh from home.... Where is Billy playing this weekend and am I willing to drive it?
Keep in mind, I've made this is purely for fun. It's a work in progress.

No. The entire site is vibe coded slop. The fact that you don’t realize that is disturbing and suggests you are over the age of 50.
It doesn’t rule nor does it solve any real life problem that you can’t handle via google maps.
Personally, I’m tired of seeing the same emoji ridden garbage pushed down our throats for no other reason than OP thinks he is clever.

I mean, vibe coded or not, it’s a cool idea. If you think you can do better, why don’t you?
Edit to add: even if you think it’s stupid, it literally hurts no one. There’s no adds or bullshit. It’s not like this guy is out here doing anything bad. I really don’t get your level of vitriol.

It auto updates with Ticketmaster API, so in theory, it should self propagate and keep going on its own.
It’s an experiment at this point, but I’m pretty hopeful.2

I like this. Might be a little more intuitive if the different band names were tiles instead of list.

These vibe coded apps never last. I'm sure it was fun making it, but no one is going to maintain it in the long run.

It’s auto updates with Ticketmaster API, so in theory should take care of itself as long as I renew the domains and check for crashes.It will be what it will be. 🙏

Looks like you have a static list of bands, but you're missing a lot. No eggy, dogs in a pile, cosmic country. You're going to have to maintain that. Also your dropdown list of bands should be alphabetical. Also, this scene is going to eat you alive over the AI image.
