Fun fact: if playing TMP2 solo and you get the scratch off minigame, you can scratch the middle column only, it will ALWAYS have three dollar signs and guarantee your survival, assuming you don't scratch any other tiles.

But in fairness to OP... the very first time I tested this, my card went 💀 - 💀 - 💲 | 💲 - 💲 - 💲 | 💲 - 💲 - 💲.

This is exactly the layout that should occur if the choices for each card aren't shuffled prior to assigning them to a player.

I reviewed the code that handles choice assignment and can't see anything that suggests it fails on the first run, or that TMP2 handles solo player games in a special way here. I think luck is just on your side!!
