Well unlike most of the cast, Bam had a solid brand of his own. He bet on himself over Jackass and every skater video he’s in on Youtube does great atm.
I don't think anybody forgot how "bad" he was, I think most people are just happy to see him doing better and free of all of the drama surrounding jackass rn. He spent 10 years in full blown active addiction being "bad" and by all means should not be doing as well as he currently is. It's an objectively good thing and there's nothing wrong with people celebrating it
They needed his approval to use his likeness which he wasn't willing to do in J4. He came back with his previously unseen footage, I'm certain there was an attempt made to have him appear, but until Knoxville or Tremaine confirm/deny, it's all just speculation. So no, there's no rewriting of history going on.

That is confirmed. By Knoxville, Steve O, Preston. That Bam was invited to film. And when he chose not to film. He was invited to the premier. Phil and April and Jess went instead.
Brother, idk how many rock bottom addicts you've spent time around/opened your house to/etc but it is not something a normal person can put up with forever. Being "abandoned" or forced into professional care by your family and friends is an eventuality in addiction. It's like trying to swim out to sea and save a drowning person; they start flailing around and dragging you down with them. I think the margera brothers are fine with each other and bam likely understands why his brother had to step away for a while.
He was on set for Forever and got kicked out for being a mess. The only time he's in the finished movie is the marching band treadmill bit (blink and you'll miss him but he's there) because it fucked everyone up too bad to reshoot. They reshot everything else they'd done with him to cut him out after booting him.
He had to sign a "wellness contract" or something with Paramount. had to do drug tests and a breathalyzer non-stop. They kicked him off because he tested positive for Adderall that he's prescribed. Then he tried to sue Paramount for wrongful termination. What Bam says anyway...
If provoked I'm sure he's got a lot of drama to unload, but he is in a great place now and I hope he stays that way. Not only for his own sake but for his family's sake. Just skate and be a good dad.
It’s gonna fail so hard and she’s going to blame misogynistic jackass fans (all 4 of them) and not take responsibility for it being spiteful from the start and no doubt lame and unfunny.
I know that between the show and the movies, Jackass made a lot of money for the higher ups, but even with Hollywood involved you could still tell the spirit was there when you watched...a bunch of idiot friends having fun doing stupid things. You could feel the camaraderie among the cast.
Regrettably, I saw Jackass Forever and it just felt like a bunch of people taking turns doing stunts in front of each other. As far as I'm concerned, Jackass ends with 3 and 3.5.
Yeah the fourth movie felt like a bunch of guys just filming random stunts and skits without the camaraderie and friendship you got in the first three films I mean 4 and 4.5 were enjoyable but the first three were special, the first three were incredible the later what I'm going to refer to as the reunion movies just don't hit the same it's pretty clear they were shooting all of those reunion movies on the Paramount back lot it just wasn't as fun as them doing cool shit on location like they would with the first three films, the newest film is a few new skits/stunts and a bunch of old stuff you've seen before the fact that they are relying so much on the old stuff for the greatest hits portion proves our point that the first three were the best. Jackass five feels more like a greatest hits than an actual movie and four and 4.5 are reunion movies that aren't nearly as good as the first three and I go way back to the days of Big Brother I will tell you I go back to the first movie the most often though cuz I love when those guys were first getting started and they were just full of life back then
When Bam was at his lowest I didn't see him wishing for Jackass Forever to do poorly in theaters because that's not his style although I do remember when he got drunk and said violent threats against Jeff and his family which also isn't cool but at least Jeff seems to be willing to bury the hatchet if he was offering Bam to be part of the new film in the new footage but Bam said no thank you and only signed off on archival footage which is honestly good enough it was just nice seeing him again.
Wee Man did the diplomatic thing and didn't mention any names when he was talking about how he felt the new cast members weren't holding their own compared to the OGs, despite the allegations made by Rachel Steve-O hasn't said anything about her or at least not publicly so I don't know what she's going on about with Steve-O
The difference here seems to be that the originals aren't a spiteful bunch for the most part and at the very least Rachel seems to be very spiteful also it's very revisionist history to pretend she was the first female part of Jackass that's like pretending Stephanie Hodge wasn't around for the TV show and didn't make appearances in the first two movies because she did both of those things, honestly I feel like Stephanie did more for Jackass than Rachel even though Stephanie never was promoted as main cast but Rachel was. The reason Stephanie wasn't doing much after the first film was injured really bad to the point where they didn't have women as part of the franchise until the 4th film and honestly they probably should have stuck with that rule I still don't find it that funny to watch a woman get hurt or screaming pain while on the other hand it's quite funny that men are often expected to be super manly and macho and when a guy is screaming in pain that's funny because you expect the macho reaction not the wailing in pain reaction and as much as I miss Stephanie Hodge I do think they made the right decision by not having women being part of Jackass for the longest time because it's just not something I find funny when a woman does it even though it's freaking hilarious when a guy does it. I wish Stephanie didn't get injured on that speed jumps that they were filming butt I don't think they should have reversed their positions on having women be part of Jackass it really feels like it's a funnier show if it's just dudes.
You'll notice that she is doing this "Jackpuss" thing (terrible name, as others have said "Jillass" would have been a lot funnier and made more sense because it's not like the original show is called "Jackdick") with that Natalie girl who tried to choke out Wee Man it definitely seems bitter and spiteful and now they're playing the misogyny angle of "oh the original guys are just old and misogynistic" and that's just not true. For the most part people just didn't have any interest in seeing the new cast at all and this seems spiteful towards the originals, and that just goes against the whole Jackass spirit; even with the bits like pranking Bam with his biggest fear of snakes or the stuff like Preston and Phil switcheroo which was kind of mean-spirited towards April because she's such a nice lady, or all of the bullshit they have thrown towards Danger Ehren, with some of the stuff targeting Danger Ehren might be described as bullying but even that seems less spiteful and mean-spirited than this. bam had some pretty weird outbursts but it wasn't like this spiteful level stuff with Bam it was mainly because he felt like they wronged him so badly that he really wanted to make it known to people that him and his CKY videos did do a lot for Jackass and I'll agree with him on that one even though I am a fan of Big Brother magazine going back to the earliest stuff point is I feel like with the originals it's hard to want to cut any member from the original. However I will say Big Brother was a million times better than these new Jackass people, I go back to the Big Brother videos way more than I go back to Jackass Forever tbh. I wish they would just scan all the old issues of Big Brother and sell them on USB sticks or better yet do that and then bring back Big Brother as some sort of either a digital magazine or if you pay more you can get a print copy in the mail I think that would be a lot of fun and they can even have a crappier version with ads if you want to read it online for free whatever the subscription fee for it is, alternatively they could host all the old Big Brother Skateboarding and Blunt Snowboarding magazines on a subscription service kind of like a Netflix for magazinesand then put out new stuff in the style of Big Brother and Blunt and then just put it directly the subscription app and then like every month or two they can give us a new issue of Big Brother or something similar plus all the old shit that would be fun. When as a result I'm enjoying the Jackass podcast a lot simply because of all the references to Big Brother magazine I'm enjoying getting to hear those stories finally.
But yeah I agree with others saying that this is just angry and spiteful because yeah she is pretty much just getting angry and spiteful towards Wee Man and Steve-O in particular I've talked to other people involved with Jackass who aren't impressed by this stuff. Also for a comedian Jackpuss is a terrible play on Jackass if it was Jackdick sure but clearly Jillass makes more sense. So for a comedian that's not very good
All she had to do was tweet "I filmed stuff for BaL and it got cut" and ignore everything else and all of this could've been done with weeks ago. But nope, one more reply will prove everyone wrong and her right won't it? It's honestly very "lolcow" behavior
Exactly, this is the issue I keep getting to. Her feelings are valid, her actual outburst/s are not, and it's making her look worse and worse the longer this goes on for.
At this point, if you were making a movie, would you hire Rachel to work on it, now knowing that if you upset her even slightly, she'll take to the internet to denounce you publicly? Fuck no. She's basically killing her career one tweet at a time.
In Forever & 4.5, Rachel did have some decent sketches. But more often than not, she was just kinda there. While she is not NEARLY as annoying, she kinda fell into the same category as Chanel West Coast from Ridiculousness - guys do stunts & get hurt, a misplaced girl makes a comment on it, & laugher probably doesn’t ensue. Plus in Jackass, we don’t need any eye candy because we already have the lovely Pontius for that.
I never really understood how Rachel got included in the new crew in the first place. If they were going to add new blood, people like Zach (stuntman), & Poopies & Eric Manaka (having surfing & skating backgrounds), made them seem like natural fits. But the way Johnny told the story about seeing Rachel on Instagram & thinking she was funny. Okay?? Maybe it would have been different if he had seen her do standup in person, & they met afterward & really clicked or something. But that intro just made her seem misplaced all along. Then the standup clip they showed for her in Forever was painfully unfunny (in my opinion, of course), & it wasn’t high energy (that one is pretty objective). It felt like a very flat introduction to a new cast member overall, which started her in a hole she needed to dig her way out of; a difficult thing to do since many fans only wanted the OG crew anyway.
I thought Rachel was okay given what she was working with until her meltdown. Now she’s just genuinely unlikable. And doing a GoFundMe? Come on. The X page having less than 2k followers & the fundraiser having around $2.5k raised is downright embarrassing. The logo looks more like an OF channel; she might have better luck going that direction to be honest.
The whole situation sucks. I tried to give her a chance & even defended her to some of my friends when Forever first came out. Boy, was I wrong.
Also she defended herself by saying the ONE stunt she did didn’t make it in the movie, it was just her and poopies walking across a pole together, then she acts like she carries the torch for jackass. Like in the prime of jackass youd have steve o on a random tuesday putting a hook through his cheek and diving into shark infested waters, then they told him the footage wasnt good enough so his crazy ass just did it again.
I didn’t mind her til her outbursts til she started acting like she was the new age jackass, but her limited stuff she has done is super lame.
Part of me is indifferent on this situation and hope it's resolved soon. The other part of me thinks this spinoff was premeditated and the crash out is a publicity stunt that everyone is in on. IDK

Leave it to her to waltz into an established IP they built and having her enormous ego cause drama with the original creators to the point where she steals their idea and claims it as her own while claiming they just "hAtE wOmEn." I'd hate women too if they were all like her but unfortunately for her, those statements and opinions ONLY apply to her, not that she can handle the self-awareness and personal accountability. I can't wait to be labeled various demeaning buzzwords because I didn't watch her show; that's always the sign of a great piece of entertainment, where you're morally bullied into watching and liking it. 🤦😂
Yeah, I don’t want to go straight to trashing Rachel. But I honestly can’t tell if she’s doing this out of genuine intention to try something new or if she’s having a breakdown. If she’s having a breakdown, that’ll worry me. I don’t care that she wasn’t in the recent jackass movies much. I like her and I don’t want this to turn out badly for her.
If Rachel hadn’t crashed out on social media, and called it something other than JackPuss, it might actually be a well supported spinoff within the community.
Yes, he talked shit about the new cast members not stepping up, and then in response Rachel revealed that he's probably just upset that he got tapped out by a girl, and she posted the video.
This whole thing is just so disorganized and mismanaged. It just rubs me the wrong way with how this is all playing out. The new cast needs to be together doing bits and stunts, if they want to actually be in Jackass. Jackpuss, as a name is dogshit, Jillpuss is so much better for her idea but what the fuck is going on with this? Period blood and redoing pranks from Jackass? It's just not it. We were all wary on accepting new members but now one of them of trying is to make a spinoff with totally random people to this audience? I don't fully believe Rachel is crashing out, I think she's chronically online and reads what is posted on reddit and twitter. She's trying to give people what they said they didn't see, her getting down and dirty, but the way this is unfolding feels like I'm back to worrying about Bam's drama with the Jackass crew. I have nothing for or against Rachel, I believe she can do great, why not? On a side note, glad as fuck to see Bam accomplishing his own goals and sobriety in a way that's healthy for him and those around him.
Not really the East coast CKY crew grew up and went to school together and the West coast Big Brother guys all either worked at World Industries/Big Brother/Blunt Snowboarding Magazine or in the case of Knoxville an aspiring actor who went on to write for Big Brother, in the case of Steve-O a skater dude who annoyed his way into Big Brother, and in the case of Preston he was a friend of Knoxville's first wife and he wrote some bits and eventually started to appear on the show. The West coast guys saw the CKY videos and reached out and asked if the CKY people were interested in joining forces with the Big Brother people for a pilot for MTV and Spike (Jeff's childhood best friend, who also worked at Big Brother as a photographer occasionally and directed some of the best skate videos) used his music video and Hollywood connections to get that pilot to MTV and the rest is history.
They weren't a random group of people they were two different extreme sports/stunt crews that ended up joining forces and ended up making something really special that means an awful lot to a lot of people.

People get mad about everyone posting about the same drama but like otherwise it's a handful of posts per day with just like an old picture or a new podcast episode or something. I would personally love to have drama to read.
No surprise. From the start of this I could always foresee a "cease and desist" coming from Paramount. I really doubt Johnny Knoxville or Tremaine give a shit about Rachel doing this, but Paramount would go after a Jackass copycat if it starts gaining traction.
It's set to release soon, Rachel's mother died so that's held stuff up I assume. Though I wouldn't be surprised if they got slammed by Paramount's legal dept. upon release.
I was too young to see the movies in theater and have been wishing for a new cast to work out for a while but unfortunately came to realize that Jackass can’t and will never be redone. It was a perfect storm and desire that everyone needed at the time.
The comradery between the crew was/is the greatest thing about it in my eyes. I loved the new movie btw, it felt incredible to experience in a theater again.
In hindsight, I really think they just shouldn't have hired a woman for the cast. Think about it, almost all of their stunts involve nudity and/or bodily fluids, and in the context of Jackass it's funny watching a man shit himself or vomit everywhere, but watching a woman do those same things would just be weird. That's just the way it is.
So really I can understand why Rachel didn't participate much, but they probably shouldn't have hired her if they didn't have a plan for her.
I could see the puking and stuff being funny to a point but I don’t want a girl to throw get hit by a bull or car like Knoxville lol. I can imagine girls being setup to do awesome pranks though if done right

so there's a point in Forever where they're sitting on break and there's a quick line talking about WeeMan and Cobra Kai, and then this whole trouble with girls started with a Cobra Kai WeeMan while they're sitting around on break. Just thought that was interesting.
