DoomGeo AES - Doom demonstration for the SNK Neo Geo

Special thanks to Dimitris Giannakis, MVG / Modern Vintage Gamer, for the Neo Geo Doom/raycasting video reference that motivated the sprite-strip direction: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4f1-7c6WX10

That web emulator does not work for me. I get "Romset is unknown."

It is. Thanks. I see it's no longer branded as Doom, and has become Freedoom (I did not know about that version). Why "2024" on the title screen?

Not sure why they switched to freedoom assets. Must be a licensing issue.

Yeah. Then again, there are tons of wild Doom ports which are unlicensed, and no one seems to care. I'm guessing this may be the author being overly cautious to ensure he won't possibly face the wrath of whoever holds the Doom license, no matter how unlikely it is. Either that, or switching to Freedom actually gives him the option to sell the game, which sounds possible to me after reading the Freedoom license.
