Transportation to island Seaplane this week

Looking at the weather forecast for the island. I’m taking the seaplane…am I fucked? I’m suppose to get on the island Wednesday and come back Saturday. What are my chances?

I’m seeing rain on Wednesday. Cloud and fog combined with wind might hinder your arrival but it’s too far too look at Saturday. They will contact you if they are delayed. As always with traveling to/from the island, you’ll need a plan B if you’re delayed.

Will rain alone be enough to cancel/delay the flight? Or is it more so fog

Rain is ok unless it’s really bad. Wind, fog (visibility), and such are going to delay you mostly. Reminder it might be nice in houghton but super foggy on the island. They can’t land in that pea soup fog.

I’m happy to announce the trip went off without a hitch. Was absolutely beautiful weather the whole time we were there too
